Compensation and Quotas
Aestheticians and massage therapists are compensated with an hourly wage or a salary. There are no sales quotas on either treatments or retail products. We feel that quotas might encourage a provider to promote a product or a service a client really doesn't need. And, we know that quotas can contribute to a feeling of high pressure for both staff and guests.

Special Considerations for Massage Therapists:
At Blue Water Spa, we realize the demands massage can put on the body. We limit the amount of massages performed by a single therapist to a maximum of 5 hours each day. We also limit treatments to no more than 3 treatments back to back. Each massage therapist has 10 minutes between appointments to educate clients, and prepare for the next service. We feel that limiting the number of massages performed is beneficial for our massage therapists and ensures that each client will receive the highest quality massage or body treatment possible.
